Old Surveyor's Ridge Trail Closed for Safety through Mid-November
The Old Surveyor’s Ridge Trail in Mount Hood National Forest is temporarily closed to the public due to active construction for the City of The Dalles Dog River Pipeline Replacement Project. Please stay safe and use an alternate trail.
What: Trail closed to public access.
Where: Old Surveyor’s Ridge Trail west of USFS Road 17.
What to expect:
- Closure notices posted at either end of
- Active construction work and equipment in the area.
About the Dog River Pipeline Replacement Project:
The City of The Dalles is replacing 3.5 miles of aging wooden water supply pipeline in the Mount Hood National Forest with new pipeline being designed to last 100 years or more.
